When not concentrating on music, Guja enjoys practicing and teaching yoga to musicians (and non-musicians!) and is since 2009 on the teaching faculty of the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She did her hatha yoga teacher training at the TRIYOGA studios in London with teachers Jane Kersel, Kate Ellis and Carlos Pomeda. In Amsterdam she attended workshops with Donna Farhi and joined the Somatic Yoga Training with Leo Peppas at the yogayoga studio in Amsterdam in 2011. Guja has also taught yoga at HKU in Utrecht, Icelandic Music Festival Við Djupid and at the yogayoga studio in Amsterdam. She also enjoys giving private sessions where more focus can be given on each student´s individual needs.
In her yoga classes, Guja aims to explore the wisdom of the physical body, the way we breathe, postural alignment and the movements of the mind. The practice is slow yet dynamic. She is interested in casting a light on how yoga can be a practical tool for musicians/artists/human beings in everyday life.
